I see we have a thread here now where the OP claims that Chess is dying and improvements are needed ? Well OTB Chess may have slowed down a bit however on-line Chess games have become quite popular, things change over time.

Just a few years ago they changed the rules of chess. Removing the 75 move rule. Thats the most recent change as far as I know.

Chess is a flawed version of Xiangqi. Its perfection lies in how perfectly it highlights how much better of a game Xiangqi is.
