I truly don't understand how someone can't reach 1000. I remember I did start out really low but almost immediately got to 1000. I'm not even sure it took a week to get there from learning how the pieces moved
Then there's some titled players who are probably equally confused how I can't reach 2000 elo (otb) and see me as the weird one
Point is some people just have chess talent and some don't. It doesn't sound like you have it and that's fine. Just enjoy the game at your rating level
People keep thinking about chess rating as something absolute
And chess is not about a bunch of integer numbers only
And many people (including me) do not try to achieve anything in chess

Post was out of frustration. I can beat the 1300 chess bot 90% of the time but half the 600-700 humans I can't
If you really want to get better, put some time in your chess. Do tactics, read chess books, talk to stronger players... The way to 1400 is pretty straight forward...

99% of us will never move past our base elo. The system keeps us spinning in circles forever. You might say thats the point to be equally matched. If so how does any one advance? With YT and cheating 99% of us will never progress ever. What is the percentage of players even in 1000 Elo?
600 Elo should be absolute chaos but at the end of most games the computer says me and my opponent are playing at approx 1300.
Due to the internet Chess truly has become a miserable past time.
