It's not like changing chess to black moving first will do anything to solve racism aside from screw around with a ton of chess books/engines.
Racism will always be around. There are places in the world where whites are racist to blacks, where blacks are racist to whites, etc. Racism goes both ways, and changing chess to black moving first will literally do nothing.

if we make a varient where black move first, the black king has to start on black player's right and the white king starts on white player's left. also the notation should change where black's back rank is rank 1 and the queenside rooks start on the a file
What about the sexist his/her pronouns used instead of the proper non offensive their,them,etc.As we have proven the racist ,sexist,bigotry of the chess community that has been good ole boy accepted in the past. Chess should be universally shut down until completely revamped to deal with this criminally outrageous white privilege institution......There should also be some form of reparations to right this centuries old atrocity.

Somebody needs to quit chewing on their chess pieces. I hear that Chinese plastic is toxic.
Chess pieces are not human. They do not have any race. It is like saying that nature is racist because snow is white. The color of the pieces actually represent day and night.
