A friend of mine once claimed that chess is the easiest game to play, the hardest game to win.
I called him out on the inaccuracy of that statement, pointing out that tic-tac-toe is a)an easier game to play and b) a much harder game to win.

Ok, everybody missed my point which was that chess is so stupid and that exactly what makes it so difficult. Stupid does not mean simple. The entire game is an absurd! (I am sharing a valauble chess understanding with you now).
I think the main cause that adult sucks at chess compaired to children is that adults can`t believe how stupid chess actually is, how stupid the requirements are which are in front of their nose all the time.... no .. .instead they try to make this game intelligent and logical!! How can you take a logical approach against something illogical!!! ??? Someone with strong analytical skills would understand it`s the wrong approach. Approach that will not lead you above 2000 mark in a tactical style.

Sorry Master_ScorpionC but I didn't find your alleged insights to be very valuable at all. Coincidentally I'm rated 2000 and I managed to achieve that without considering chess to be stupid or illogical.
