Some of you read Norwegian, for the rest of you it says that Carlsen claim Norway has the mest nordic team since the war and on a good day could beat anyone.

with Agdestein 2558, Hammer 2630, Johannesen 2506, Lie 2532 and Carlsen a billion they are going for tenth place. Do you think they will make it?

Agdestein has a rating of 2630 and I think he is underrated. He is capable of playing draw against 2750-2800 players. Hammer is strong too. Board 4 I guess will have problems against the large nations.

10. place is difficult, but possible.

Does anybody have link to a full startlist with the ratings of players in all teams?

:)

Only reason hammer dosent get more credit is that he have to share the glory with magnus

Agdestein has had a good run recently, drawing with (his former student) Magnus Carlsen, this is why he has been selected for the Norway Olympiad team. Hammer is a strong grandmaster, but, yes, lives in the shadow of Magnus a little.

Two other interesting points......Spain and England are good outside bets to win, all the mens teams being above 2600 elo. Secondly, it is interesting that Anand is not playing for India.
