Chess opening principles
If you look around this site you will find a good amount of quality info on this subject. You just have to be patient in your search.
2. Develop minor pieces to squares where they can attack/defend central squares or where they assert pressure on opponents pieces (in a way that's useful for controlling the centre).
3. connect the rooks (by castling usually).
4. In the above process, make trades only that clearly win material, or that win tempos (I.e.: move a minor piece off the back row to take a well-developed/placed piece, etc.). Think about making developing moves that force your opponent to waste moves.
5. Don't attack until you are fully developed (rooks connected, king safe)
