Why are kids always being so good at chess. I am a 10 year old kid but my rating is 1400. Why players like Gukesh have a rating of 2700 and be the youngest world champion ever?

You aren’t born with the ability to play grandmaster level, if you practice multiple hours and take it seriously then you’ll get to that point

You got a 1700 rating (rapid at least) and a diamond membership, you have an overall advantage in studying than other people

You’ll reach 2000 someday, maybe even get a title if you are that passionate for the game
