I know you like to play chess... Thats why you are here.

But do you have a nice looking chess set, or do you just don't care what you are playing with.

Asking because, when I'm on holyday I go to the marketsplace looking around for nice chesssets. I simply can't help itCool.
So I have chesssets from Poland, Grece and Tyrkie.
And my playing chess set is from "House of Staunton" the Proffesionel Series.

So: do you have a nice looking chess set, or do you just don't care.Smile

I do care, but haven't found the right one. I think I'll have to bend and order one from the internet, although I hate the afterwork it might produce (sending pieces of cracked ebony back and forth overseas). I've got my eye set on the Reykjavik II pieces from HOS in blood rosewood and ebony, but with a different board as the one from the pictures. I haven't decided on the board yet, so suggestions as to what might go well with blood rosewood are duly taken into consideration.

i enjoy nice looking sets as I do all pretty things, but I don't care.  I'll play with little torn pieces of paper and a hand drawn board :D The boards I've owned were always given or passed down so I guess I'm not that dedicated to chess yet, but maybe one day.  I've seen some nice ones, but I really like the human size chess sets!
