6. Nxe5 doesn't lead to anything though. At most a rook for a queen.

I don't see a checkmate, but I know it's possible to mate in variations like that.

If you take the queen he even has a forced mate and like Blueemu said and I pointed out in the analysis white has some nice space and development in addition to the pawn assuming you don't fall for the forced mate.

Just to clarify, a queen is better than a rook and a bishop, but worse than 2 rooks.

please analyze my game against CPU hard 2|1  that was last night (that I posted here).

That was by far the most accurate game I played that I posted. I don't think there are any mistakes except the end game and move 14. through move 16. may have been inexact due to tricky knight.

Ah, yes... I had overlooked your analysis above, TheGreatOogieBoogie. You beat me to it.

I have fond memories of this line... thirty years ago, EXACTLY this position came up in one of my OTB tournament games, and when I played 6. Nxe5! the tournament director himself (!) blurted out "He can't do that!"

My opponent cracked up laughing, because he had already seen the combo and realized that he had blundered, right after pressing the clock.

-3.06 would indicate black is winning genius

I was in a hurry and pressed - instead of +. Frankly if you think that Black could by any stretch of the imagination be anything but completely lost here then I think you need to think a bit harder about the position.
