Ok heres my question why is there so much emphasis put on studying openings and middle games and end games when I play with people who dont know anything about specfic openings are know anything about pgn but have some really brilliant minds. Minds that have beaten chessmasters such as Jude Acres who sits in the french quarters of New Orleans or my favorite, LA State Penn chess champion for 16yrs while he was there. So im not putting down on any of this but the most important thing in my opinion is not how well r how fast u open but is TATICS because the overall objective of the game is to capture the opponents King. I read comments all the time where people say o thats not a good opening or this is how it should have been played but ur dont know my TATICS r my plan so how can u even say that thats not a good opening? I encourage everyone to comment please. Thanks and once again no disrespect is intended to anyone just stating what I see.
