Chess puzzle creator software

Can someone point me towards a good chess puzzle software? I would like to create a collection of puzzles for my own use - based on missed tactics etc.

Ideally I want it to be very similar to what chess.com has.

I already have purchased chessbase but I am unable to use it for this purpose - since it either shows the moves, is not interactive, or doesn't automatically play the moves of adversary.

You can enter the positions you want to train into Chess Position Trainer.

I believe YATT--Yet Another Tactics Trainer also allows you to use your own positions.

YATT only allows for only one move - not a sequence of moves.

I am unable to figure out how to use CPT for this purpose!

It's using the topics and tabiyas feature. Create a topic then go to the positions tab to add positions to the topic. For each position you can then add moves. I'm out at the moment otherwise I'd post screenshots.

Not true! If you put a sequence of moves in the PGN, YATT will follow that sequence. (Of course, you first have to convert the PGN file to a YATT puzzle file format.)

The biggest negative of YATT is that it isn't timed, but if you don't need a timed tactics program, YATT is a fairly nice free offline program.

You do the conversion in the Utilities tab. Fred has a YouTube video that explains it all. To view the video, just click on the Help tab, then click on the video button. The program will then pull up the video in your browser.
