Chess Puzzle Rush Improvement - Should include drawn and losing positions

One of the problems with doing puzzles is that you know there is a tactic in the position.  Because of this you can guess at what a lot of the tactics are just because you know it will work without actually calculating it out.

This could be prevented if there were spoiler positions mixed in with the tactics, so a position could be completely even or lost.  Then, in order to get this problem correct, you would have the option of hitting a button that says even or lost instead of making a move on the board.

You can be self disciplined to calculate everything out before making a move, but your brain will still be able to guess the moves just because it is a tactic.  This could especially be helpful for endgame tactics.

Wow to be honest that is a great idea to save the game with drawn positions to be more aware not to blunder leading in to a totally lost position like a little tactic in all of are puzzles

Wow! not gonna lie but that's a great idea

Thank you!

I am actually doing a puzzle rush survival problem right now, and I have encountered the exact problem I was talking about.  It is a low level problem, and I am pretty sure it is because the answer is Ne5+ which is the only 'tactical' like move in the position, but it is really unclear to me what happens after Ne5+.  I see an idea where you force a rook fork, but the king can just move to another square.  I am guessing there is some pawn promotion stuff going on if the king moves away, but I haven't been able to calculated it out concretely.

Under my idea, if there was a "Position is Equal, No Tactic" button then I would be less sure that Ne5+ works and would have to make sure I calculated it out properly and completely.  I will try and be disciplined to figure out the problem completely anyway, but it is obvious what the correct move is going to be just because this is a puzzle.
