Don't try to manipluate the ratings. If you keep on playing, it will reflect how good you really are, and you will get opponents of appropriate strength.
Plus you are holding up your oppoenents. Move already!

Accually I was not thinking of holding up my opponents, I was thinking of playing the maximum number of moves before being forced into a mate.

I am almost losing in a game (I will lose 35 point) and almost winning in another (I will win 30 points)
What is better lose first or win first? I think it should make a difference to my rating as if I win first I will lose more than 35 point when losing and if I lose first I will win more than 30 points
