today mar 22 my opponent resigned after 16 moves. my rating at the time was 1600. my rating fell to 1592 and his is 1372 (i dont know if his changed). how does that happen?

Everyone begins with 1200 as their rating.
Anyway, don't bother ratings. Just keep playing.
Rating's don't mean nothing to me i just love the game,been playing for one year now.(Did'nt know what i was missing.)
Many players bloking game,when they are in difficulty.I can not move and lose the game.What can i do?

In my last 2 games, suddenly the positions changed (without touching anything) and it said that I lost - crazy, and my points went down. Then in the next game after 2 moves it appeared that I left, which I did not and I was declared "lost" and the score reduced.
Does anyone experience the same?

Black starts. Find few first strongest moves. I missed combination in the heat of battle, even though it is an easy one.

How many moves need to be played before it is able to be rated? I had played only two moves (deliberately playing slow) when my opponent timed out (banned!)and the game was not rated. From memory 3 moves need to be played, but I'd like to know for sure.
just a few wins against much stronger players...and your rating will ZOOM !
In the position above I played:
.......... Bb7:f3
Hb3:f3 b5:c4
But there is much stronger combination:
.......... Rc8:c4
Rc1:c4 Nb7-d5
and white is forced to lose Queen
Why not black Nf4xg2:Kxg2 Qg5 Check:King H1, Queen g2 mate.

hello I have conquered but how come that the rating does not go up?
Basically, Every player starts with 1200 points when they join. Playing online games increases or decreases your score based on wins and losses. (High scores are better than lower ones.)
