and you have decisive advantage, not good enough to win with grandmaster but good enough against your level opponent

today mar 22 my opponent resigned after 16 moves. my rating at the time was 1600. my rating fell to 1592 and his is 1372 (i dont know if his changed). how does that happen?

Everyone begins with 1200 as their rating.
Anyway, don't bother ratings. Just keep playing.
Rating's don't mean nothing to me i just love the game,been playing for one year now.(Did'nt know what i was missing.)

In my last 2 games, suddenly the positions changed (without touching anything) and it said that I lost - crazy, and my points went down. Then in the next game after 2 moves it appeared that I left, which I did not and I was declared "lost" and the score reduced.
Does anyone experience the same?

Black starts. Find few first strongest moves. I missed combination in the heat of battle, even though it is an easy one.

How many moves need to be played before it is able to be rated? I had played only two moves (deliberately playing slow) when my opponent timed out (banned!)and the game was not rated. From memory 3 moves need to be played, but I'd like to know for sure.
just a few wins against much stronger players...and your rating will ZOOM !
In the position above I played:
.......... Bb7:f3
Hb3:f3 b5:c4
But there is much stronger combination:
.......... Rc8:c4
Rc1:c4 Nb7-d5
and white is forced to lose Queen
How about a kf7 and rh8 in there somewhere?
