So I’ve been playing chess for almost 8 years now and rn I’m 13. Chess helps me lower my stress rates at school. And I’m really doing well in math because of chess. Chess requires logical thinking and so does math and other lessons. I’m really thankful for this game.

Chess requires you to sit and think.  It's rare that you're going to have all the information to arrive at the precise answer, so you learn to look for patterns and to develop your intuition.  This is exactly what is measured by standardized Aptitude Tests -- the kind they use for College Entrance.
