Chess site that plays open ratings.

wow. i didnt know that. more like it gets boring as hell watching the same ones do the play of the day. 100000 versions of the same opening. cause that what we learned to day is class kids. so i ask agin for those that missed it and just regurgitaed the same ol crap. any sites out there that run like an open tourney?

Change the seek parameters in your profile.
Instead of plus or minus 50 rating points (or whatever it is now) set it to 250 plus or minus.
Then your pairings will be more random and more open to all levels.

Tried that. it stays around the 1450 or what ever it is now. i genreally get pretty bored and start trying outlandish combos and traps. rating takes a dive but i dont see much value in the rating anyway besides playing stronger players. i havent had a game more than 40 points higher than any given rating. i did get a few decent ones in an actual tournament but i dont always have 2 hours to play so i find myself resigning often to get the random higher rated player.
you can maybe click the play tab and click "open challenges"
yep that would likely work if there were more than 1 in a thousand that doesnt block lower rated players. likely due to the old "scared of my rating dropping by more than a couple points at a time" syndrome.
I regularly search for games in 10 min casual(that's the key) with search parameters of -25 to unlimited. And I regularly get games with players 200 to 600 elo higher than me. Even titled players now and then. For a guy who says he doesnt care about rating, this is the perfect option for you
ill give it a try. i usually go to te computer. its a solid game and no lippy remarks. even that settles into a repetitive after about 10 games or so.

Any chess sites out there that dont limit you to the same boring ratings? Hows a guy supposed to get better if you are forced to play the same rating all the time?
