the thing isn't to play forcing moves.. there are many people like me and @imadarkhorse whose tactics rating is way higher than their actual rating.. thats cuz in a real game you have to know WHEN TO LOOK FOR THEM! and that only comes with experience

Great video. Initially, I found it above my ability to use but the last position really hit it home. I will absolutely try to incorporate this.

So, one stops calculating when there are no longer any forcing moves? Pretty reasonable advice, do threats count as forcing moves? If so it may still take several moves before one is able to stop calculating checks, captures and threats.
