You clear the way between your King and desired Rook (neither of which are allowed to move before castling), and then you move your King two squares toward the Rook you want to castle with. That Rook will automatically move to the square adjacent to the King on the King's other side. If you're playing on an actual chessboard, you have to do that Rook move yourself. Make sure that none of the squares that involve your King are being attacked by an enemy piece (the square the Rook ends on counts, too).
