You mean like one minute per move? I personally don't like this idea because it will rush you and make you make bad moves. I say let people use their time as they see fit. If they want to waste 10 minutes figuring out a move, then that's their business. If someone wants to time out on me, I'll just sit there and watch the clock run down.

How akward you would say that, since I just played a blitz game with you and instead of resigning when I was up two rooks and your king was cornered you just left the game forcing me to wait. Bad sportmanship.

Such a rule would lower the quality of play.
I agree. I can think a very long time over moves, sometime I can think even longer Puchiko.
That aside fisher14,your rule wouldn't help, since if a person leaves the server will extermminate the game after a while.

I never forced anyone to wait, I said I could use longer time on making a move in a game, but I never leave in the middle of it without resigning.

that's why some people play with the time control 2|12 instead of 10|0, so that if someone doesn't move in 2 minutes they lose. i could probably explain that a little better but i think you can get the gist.
