It's too late to learn new ideas (only one week). But it's useful to do some tactics and calculation practice each day to keep you in good form.
U1600 most games are lost due to tactical oversights and errors in calculation.

I will be attending a huge chess tournament this upcoming week and need some advice. I am playing in a relatively low division. Any tips on how to properly prepare for it? Should I focus on tactics, positions, mating nets, openings, calculation. What is most important for a player under 1600 rating.
