Chess vs. ChatGPT

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few months, you know about ChatGPT and its capabilities as an AI assistant. You may have also seen the likes of GothamChess, Hikaru, or Eric Rosen challenge it to a game of chess. In every case, it doesn't take long for ChatGPT to start defying the laws of chess or creating pieces from thin air. For any of you who have not seen such a game, here is a game I played against ChatGPT along with the entire conversation in the comments. Note, I corrected and forced ChatGPT to make legal moves.

TLDR: ChatGPT quickly loses its grasp of the position and offers hilariously wrong explanations for virtualy every move in the game.
