There are already enough patzers in parliament.
Now you want a wood pusher for president
That's not true at all, I play playstation and chess and I bet there's a ton of other players who do the same. So i really doubt you can "break chess players in to two groups". Playstation doesn't have anything to do with chess
I've just watched the "Chess Ultra" video posted above. Is it just me or do both sides have their Kings and Queens on the wrong squares?

I agree. This topic is nonsense and presents nothing but a false dichotomy.
It might even be one of the stupidest topics that I've ever seen on this site, and that's saying a lot.
It's high time politicians understood this. We need to pass the Entertainmentcare law to ensure that all children, no matter their social background, have access to a playstation.

Nothing wrong with board set up.
Computer is white ( silver metal pieces).
He is black (with ivory white).
Colors are confusing though.
@drmrboss thanks, thought I was going mad or something. Or that "Chess Ultra" had a feature such that "novice mode" sometimes involved having the pieces set up wrongly
@lasertwodoorwhich...I highly doubt you own a playstation, lol, Serbia barely has electricity let alone 1st world luxuries, unless you have some other non electrical device known as a playstation.
@anklehaul9000...it is truly sad to think a child would rather push pieces of wood around a board in what is generally know as the world’s most boring game than play with a playstation. If ever you make a friend one day you should try multi player mode.
I have a playstation 4 and it gathers dust tbh
Only game I really want is cyberpunk whenever it comes out.

If chess is so boring what are you doing here. Oh that's right. You wanna be a moderator. The day your a moderator, I'll be an astronaut! The day you're a moderator this place will be a ghost town cuz everybody even the other moderators would leave. You're a waste of human existence and you'll never be moderator son!!! Bwahahaha!!!!

I used to play PlayStation 1, 2 and the portable version (PSP) and XBOX. All these from 2001 to 2010. My brother sold the XBOX and the PS consoles got sort of sick or old. Not that we are careless users. My brother owns a PS 4 now and only if I got the newer versions of XBOX or PS, I would probably never have gotten back to chess. Smoking a cigarette while playing chess is the only cool thing I find about it. But now cigarettes' prices are skyrocketing in our country, I am getting a bit depressed. I wanna be a cool, clean XBOX- or PS-playing dude again.
Bravo Jessie, I applaud your honesty, the truth will out.
The original post is now irrevocably proven despite the whining from some first world brats and that poor kid from Serbia who doesn’t know what a playstation is.
Once again the Duck’s insight proved correct.
Chess players can be broken into two groups:
1. Old guys who grew up before playstation came around and needed something to do.
2. kids who cannot afford a playstation.
This explains why there is such a miserable bunch of teenagers on the site.
Your buddies are playing Call of Duty 12 and you are discussing the 12th move of the French defense.
The question is will GM’s in future be made up of resentful and bitter people who could not afford real entertainment as kids?
Modern GM’s already have no personality what will it be like in 10 years from now?
