Keep playing, your getting better every game!
Chess??
Chess is an art and a game. It gets better as you keep playing and improve so don't get discouraged.

Many thanks for your comment, I agree with you it is both. I will keep playing i wont give up that easily as the saying goes practice makes perfect :-)
Have you seen the "Everything You Need to Know" video series from Daniel Rench? The title is accurate in that you need to know that stuff to improve.

Keep up with the Chess Master, there's more than enough content on it for learning the key chess principles. Opening principles, basic tactical weapons: forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks, removing the defender attacking the pinned piece ect.. Then later in the course it covers strategy and positional play, eventually going deeper toward studying annotated games from past masters Josh has played over the years.

Some people say to me that chess is an art, some say its just a game what does everybody think? I've not been playing chess for very long but I am really enjoying it and learning a lot of new things about myself whilst playing it for example how patient I am, how long can i concentrate for. I'm going through chess master, tactics trainer and chess mentor on here also started going to a chess club and its really good to see how other people play. I've noticed though that i am good at the opening moves but i still seem to struggle a little bit after the opening I havent won a game yet :-( but that wont stop me. Practice makes perfect! :-) You lose some you win some!
I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your sentiments, in your post. They express gratitude and positive thinking. Those good qualities you have, are essential to be good, not only at chess, but in anything you ever try.
I too, have been using Chessmaster, to help me. I had many of the same issues when I first started using the Chessmaster, but I started using some of the more advanced training sessions, to help me. I made sure to learn my tactics properly first. If you don't know how to, or aren't using the proper tactics, you won't see the better moves. However, sometimes the best moves don't look like the best moves. That is where the more advanced tutorials come into play.
The one that probably helped me the most was called match the masters. It is still teaching me. It covers the middle game and end game more closely. It is the middle game which normally starts to differentiate the level of play, in the better players. This is due to the amount of variations that are possible. With more possible moves, come more choices and strategies.
Also the skill of visualization/ calculation is necessary to see the proper tactics and moves to make, when you are trying to find the best move. This is especially true when there are more to choose from and many seem good. Finding anything that helps you to improve this skill, such as chess puzzles, will make you better at playing middle games.
The bottom line is already obvious to you, don't give up. I am willing to share or help you anytime, just ask.

No ive not seen that but I will definitely take a look at that thanks for your comments.
Thank you ryan I will stick with chessmaster, it is really good and has such a lot of stuff on it which is helping me. I will take a look at everything on it. Thank you for the comment :-).
