Chess960?

Hi there, everyone. I have a question about Chess960 - I wanted to give that a try, but I realized I couldn't find it anywhere.

When I hover my mouse cursor over "Play" at the top left, some options are shown but apparently not all. When I click on "Play", all chess options are shown on a single page with Chess960 at the very bottom. But when I click on it, I am directed to my Online Chess page. Why is that? Are they one and the same or something? I also considered that maybe the links were accidentally switched - that clicking on Chess960 would take me to Online Chess, and the other way around. But nope, that wasn't the case. "Weird," I thought.

So, if anyone could tell me where I can find Chess960, I would really appreciate it! I'm still pretty new to Chess.com, so I don't know my way around that well yet. One thing I can say, though: I loved this site the minute I found it!

You can only play chess960 online, there's no live function for it as far as I know.

To play it online, you go to Online games, new game, and there is a function that says 'standard chess' which you can change to 'chess960'

is chess960 playable with the app on iPhone?

yes. I don't have mine re-charged to check, but if memory is correct, it shows in game options on the iphone 'create challenge' same as it does on the website on that drop down option
