If one understands what you have highlighted it sounds like you have not set a reference database.

Once you do that then you should be able to reference the positions in the 'big key' found under the openings tab...

I use chessbase 12

I dont really know,iam new to chessbase,i just use megadatabase 2017 but it says, there are not enough recent GM games. when i put up a normal closed sicilian position

does it require a game database? i thought it does not. i used 365chess.com

it's going on,but what's the big deal of all this?? will it show me the opening database and games from a position?

@intermediatedinoz do i have to doall that after the search booster is created? cause i thought it's over
