There is a manual from the chessbase website. According to manual, there may be program activation and also consider checking for updates. Check for Windows Updates. You may want to email Chessbase if they do not resolve the issues (seen in manual). Good luck.

But finally, I fixed the problem ... I created myself (could it be different?).
During the first start of CB, I changed the user's folder destination (from drive 'C' to drive 'D'). Once I remembered this, I made the move back, and now everything works well. However, it is still weird that I was allowed to do this so easily.
From now on, hopefully, there will be only joy from a new program!

Does anybody know where I can get some phone help using Chessbase 17 and Fritz 19? Some basic questions from proper installation (I think there may be a problem with mine) to accessing screens that the Youtube guys start with, to a few database access questions to start. I've tried emails to Chessbase/Fritz and received no response at all, very poor customer support. I'm at a loss and about to give up and counting my expenditure as loss. I'm currently using Chess.com, Lichess and Decode chess, and my chess questions are far better handled using those tools than spending hours wandering around the Chessbase/Fritz platforms like a blind man in a shooting gallery looking for a glass of water, anyway help and answers I'd be willing to pay of course. The person I'm looking for doesn't have to be an expert, just a lot better than me.
Hello chess friends! I need your help!
Yesterday, I bought Chessbase 17, installed it, and tried to open it. It opens, first requiring the initializing of my data (not sure what that means), then ChessBase offers me to log in to my ChessBase account. After that, unrelatively what I answer in the first two pop-up windows, it takes about 10 seconds to close the In these ten seconds, I can't click on anything.
I have no other chessbases or chessbase reader installed.
My laptop requirements are:
AMD Ryzen 7 6800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz
RAM 8,00 GB;
x64;
Windows 11 Home.
I'm not so good at all these computer things, but all previous ChessBase didn't cause any problems on either of my computers.
Please help me!
