Chessbase alternatives for mac?

Does anyone know any alternatives to chessbase but for mac? It doesn't run on mac right I thinkk

It depends on which functionality you are looking for.  Hiarcs and ScidvsMac are both good database programs that can analyze, etc.  The latter is free and while it doesn't have as modern an interface it has its strong points.  There is chessbase online also, which is poorly documented in my opinion.  I haven't tried running chessbase in Parallels, but that's also an option.

Chesskingtraining.com may have mac software.  The web site is a little confusing, and I haven't actually seen chess assistant in a mac version, but supposedly it is coming out or already out.  I've run their software on parallels without a problem.
