Hello!

I have chessbase 10 on one computer, and chessbase 11 on another one. I have all my databases on the one with chessbase 10, and i want to move my databases and games from chessbase 10 on one computer to chessbase 11 on the other computer.

How to i do?

Thanks in advance!

Well, easiest  way is to right clik on it in the list of databases. One of the options will be 'Email selected database'. Done. Or, Make a CD/DVD with the databases and do it that way.

Go to your computer's "Documents" folder. You'll see a Chess Base folder. Copy that to your new computer's Document's folder using a flash memory or DVD.

It should contain most of your databases.

If there are databases that you think are not in the documents/chessbase folder, then open them using chessbase 10. Right click on them, then click on properties. There, at the top, you'll see the location of the actual file. Find it, copy it, paste it into the new computer somehow.

Choose the database and them right-click select Tools then backup database... them select a place (folder) to put the new file (the backup database)...

then you can transfer the backup database to the new PC with a pen or burn the file to a CD or a DVD...

Then open in new PC...

Thats it...
