Has anyone managed to run Chessbase Reader (the free chessbase file reading software) under Wine in Mac OS X or Linux? I'm having problems. The app crashes on the splash screen.

Fritz 11 works without problems on Macos 10.9.5 under wine 1.6.2 . Chessbase (I tried 10-11-12) still I am not able to run it.

I've run Chessbase Reader 12 on Mac OS X. I used WineBottler to do that. It worked ok, albeit slow. Had to turn off shadows for the pieces.
