there is no way level 10 is 2600 not a chance i'd say more like 2100-200
I think it is much higher then 2100. 2600 is fair approximation. It thrashes me soundly.

That was another. I need to know if getting a new desktop to play on would help.
I don't think your hardware's the problem here, I think it's the software.
I finally beat Computer Level 10 today in an epic game. I had a tough time at first but managed to recover in the middlegame.
Congratulations Mate!
Assuming that its a software issue, how can I rectify it? My kid plays online using Google Chrome. Can you guide me? I appreciate all the help!
Here's an epicly long draw I had today against Computer Level 10.
It was painful to watch your game, lots of mistakes, starting on move 3.
I beat level 5 lichess computer (it says its 1700 rated stockfish). I beat 1800 elo chesskid.com computer and i beat level 5 chess.com computer (maybe about 1600 rated if the other websites are accurate). Forget level 10 computer I have no chance of beating it yet I'm 0-5 against level 6 computer but I think it's beatable. If I started playing on chess.com again I think I could maybe get to 1400 rated but I've been enjoying and seem to improve more playing AI's and looking over games.
I wouldn't say level 5 is 1200 because maybe a good game of a 1200 rated player is at that level most games he/she would probably lose against level 5. (I have been 1200 rated before).

A lot of the 1200's on chess.com that I have seen still make elementary blunders. The chess.com Computer Level 5 on my PC almost never blunders and sometimes finds the right strategy as well for a given position.
Congratulations Mate!

Your son is playing against a computer lvl 1 until he is one move from mating it, then he changes the level to lvl 10 and wins against that.
Level 10 wouldn't make the mistakes it did in the game you posted.
Hello friends I manage to dominate Computer level 10. But before I could win, the site webpage got hang. I couldn't play as the computer wont move here's the game you can study it
Can someone please let me know what approx rating is lvl 10. Chess.com staff please. Let me know
When you feel bad for losing to the computer just keep in mind that Magnus Carlsen lost to "himself at 14"

i have literally beat computer level 10 by huge material difference (game posted in previous comment). someone said its rated 2600. i cant believe it as i single handedly defeat it im rated 1600. is it really 26oo
Looking at your game I don´t think it is rated 2600.
Don´t get me wrong, I think you played very well so big props to you. But a 2600 would not make so many mistakes.
Is there a dependency on the underlying hardware?
I don't know, maybe, but computer engines don't have built-in blunder generators unless they're supposed to. What I would have expected was an engine that does not blunder any but will occasionally make inaccuracies due to hardware limitations.
