Another beer geek reporting in. I believe I tasted the Williams Bros' Midnight Sun Porter a few years back - I remember it being quite good, but definitely not the tastiest beer in the world. But I do think Williams Bros is one of the best breweries on the British Isles. And please don't even mention Guinness when talking seriously about beer.

The amount of Imperial stouts on that list is quite amazing and like you say its a matter of taste. Personally I prefer porters, stouts and ales. Not very keen on IPA's though. I kind of assumed that our American friends were into watery beers, because of the prevalence of Budweiser and Millers and other tasteless brews and yet they seem to have a thriving microbrewery culture. Good for them!

I like how you posted a LOSS this time, sire. It shows that you aren't always bragging about your wins, which I don't think is right.

As for the second game, I agree with you 100%. It's tough to contend against 2 connected passers. Black Blundered. I would have continued play with ...Qc5, and get the Rooks on the King file to get some counterplay, if you let it. Depending on how much worse the position would get, I would go down kicking and screaming (a chess cliche) and wait until you convinced me to resign, through your play! Of course, I don't disconnect like your opponent did, that is rude.

Woa a Sassy Sheila, awesome! I remember those Castlemain XXXX advertisements, Sheila in the back of the pick-up, beers in the front to keep them cool. Gotta love the Aussies.

Whiskey is the Irish spelling. In Scotland the land of the worlds finest whisky we use bourbon as aftershave cause it tastes roughly the same.

Thats quite unusual tis is not. I've had Taquila with lime and salt but never beer and in fact i am greatly wondering what kind of beer you are drinking with lime and salt? but if it rocks your world then alright.

Mexican beers like Tecate or Dos XX Lager are generally the best tasting with lemon/lime and salt
