Hey i'm new to this site. I have an android. The dad has an iphone. Can anyone tell me how we can play against each other? I try looking him up to add him as a friend on the phone and it tells me to get on the comp. But no help from the comp either. Someone please help.....please.

chess.com flushed my goldfish down the toilet, and shaved my cousin's hamster, then blasted a cooling fan at it for half an hour.  I agree.  chess.com is officially horrible.

Add him as a friend (can't do that via the app, I think, but your browser will work fine), then make a custom challenge.

I have an android and frequently play my friend who has an iPhone, so it's not like there's any incompatibility issues.

Hope that helps.

CHESS.COM OFFICIALLY A CHESS SITE FOR HUMANS!!!!!

Having now banned chess engines, Chess.com is starting from scratch and have officially allowed humans to participate in chess games against each other! There are no members at the moment.

If you have an issue with the advertisements on the site, you need to bring it to the admins' attention.  Although I'm fairly sure they regularly login as non-paid members to test the resiliency of the site experience, bad ads sometimes get mixed in with the package.  Chess.com has no control over their advertisers' code, but they can pull ads that make the site unusable.

I think you are correct that the site would be unusable if it made you wait 20 minutes to login.  Something like that is not what the admins want you to have to deal with...

Once the mods get tired of this guy - he's gone.

Buy a membership and there are no ads. For free, well, beggars can't be choosers.

Nah. I'm happy with free, I'm just tired of douchebags whining about how they can't do nothin'.
