Chesscom vs Lichess drag-and-drop precision

Hello everyone.
I started playing hyperbullet/ultrabullet on both chesscom and lichess nearly four years ago. I've always felt like I mouseslip more often on lichess, and that the drag-and-drop mechanics on chesscom are smoother. Is this purely placebo on my end? Or does lichess somehow have smaller "hitboxes", making drag precision more relevant?
