Engines in general are brute-force and clearly non-human in the way they see moves but most of them have a bunch of knobs (parameters) you can turn(tweak) that tend to indicate a slight bias in its selection/preference of moves.
I believe CM tries to map these map settings to different personalities and even its rather naive and pompous emulation of Masters like Alekhine, Anand etc.
To your question, I doubt the engine's evaluation of a position would change. It probably just picks the final candidate move differently from the list of candidates.
For weaker-rated personalities, I know that CM does a terrible job of emulating humans as it cannot accurately simulate the mistakes of club/intermediate players.
How are the personalities in chessmaster 10th edition or grandmaster edition actually vreated like how do they get the computer to play a certain level and not be all about calculations and measure postions diffrently ? also if you got to chose personalities they could add to the game ?
