Chessnut Evo - general questions

Hello everyone, 

I am pretty new here and I want to practice competitive chess to get better. I have seen the boards from the company Chessnut and I am very interested in getting one for me so I get better and also (in comparison to only digital chess games) get a better felling and don't have to stare on the screen all the time.

The Chessnut Evo has multiple features which I really like so I think of getting one for me but in the most of the articles and videos I red and saw until now only the integrated KI and chess.com bots were mentioned but I also want to play online against other real and friends from my friend list.

Maybe there are a few people here who also have the Evo board or have used in the past and can give me a quick answer of how it really is playing online. Are there any known and/or regularly bugs while playing online? How is the performance? Does the boards still gets new updates when things doesn't function like planned? 

And how about practice lessons from chess.com directly, are they also playable on this board?
