clock stuck?

Fed up with this. I find it hard enough to win let alone having the clock 🕰 not working on every single game. Tried the ‘draw offer’ trick which does help reset the clock but you have to do it after every move so you lose valuable time anyway. Going away for now which I suspect is what the site admin team want any as they have been inundated with new users.

Also when I went to the App Store to get this new update, I saw it , but was unable to get it, normally next to a app there’s the word “ Get “ but but it wasn’t there, in its place was the word “ Open “ which didn’t help at all ! 🤷♂️

That's normally an indication that you've already got the latest version, which means it must have been automatically updated somewhere along the way.

I am having the same problem. I have lost so many games to disconnects it is heart breaking. There really is no point in playing (or paying) if you are going to lose so many games even when you are winning. I did not have this problem before (nearly to the same extent). It has happened over the last couple of weeks.
I’ve played several games where I’ve made the last move but my clock’s kept going whilst my opponents clock has froze & I’ve ended up losing a game that I shouldn’t have because my time’s ran out which has then affected my rating & given an automatic win to my opponent.. Totally unable to do anything about it which has left me fuming!!

@YL2109 @MichaelDWard @ch1naman1 @SuperEzza and anyone else still experiencing clock problems: Can you please confirm that you are definitely running version 3.9.16 (2) of the iOS app - there are definitely some people still experiencing problems even with this latest version and it would be good to know if you're one of them or if you've still got an old version of the app.

I have the 3.19.16 (2) versione and I can confirm you that I’m still experiencing massive clock problems.
Please try to fix them asap because it is not possible to play like this.

Perhaps after v3.9.16(2) continued problems are due to an older iOS operating system? Or perhaps not clearing all data and history in Safari ?
I’m running 13.7 (not the latest 14) and performed phone maintenance/ restart after latest Update.
No issues in 3 days / 30+ 10/0 games
Don’t know if anything’s been done behind the scenes but (fingers crossed) I haven’t had an issue for two days now...
I am NOT, I repeat NOT playing on iPhone app, I am playing on browser. This is happening everywhere. Leaving this platform. Same issue since 2014
