I am new to the site and was curious, the rating that the site is using, how close is it to the rating system people use in schools and tournaments? I used to play 20 years ago and remember the rating system back then was was curious if it was comparable?
I do realize that the ratings will be off for awhile til a player might hit close to a rating he might have away from the site, but wanted to know how close the systems are...
