Computer Game freezes twice computer about to lose -- what?

I am a newbie on Chess.com. But in two of the 6 or so games I have played against the computer, it froze at the end when I was winning by major numbers. And the only way to start again was to leave the game and start a new one, which was counted as though I lost??? Does this happen often? Thanks.
