Comunity Guidelines Update

As shown in the image below, Chess.com has updated their policies regarding comunity guidelines and other stuff. Now, it's shocking the ammount of censorship and hipocrisy from it.

They punish political debate and also to be forgiving. In the last months, if not in the last entire year, they have posted stuff about Ukraine players, members of Ukraine army, the Russian attitude towards Ukraine and they even dare to punish Russian by altering their flag(wich is discriminatiory and offensive, things they forbid in their policies). How can I take you seriuously, chess.com team? You are a contradiction. Amen.

Besides, they request to be forgiving. Does that implies we have to forgive cheaters? Are you serious? I guess, since you've forgiven so many players and titled players guilty of cheating, you expect us to do the same? You guys sound like crooked politicians.

You might want to consider what you request.

Religious and political debate has never been allowed in the forums - it only leads to arguments with no chance of satisfactory resolution. They have had 1 official statement regarding Ukraine and Russia that is consistent with most other countries and organisations including lichess, FIDE and the IOC and their action with the Russian flag is also in line with the majority of the world. As you are violating the point about political debate, this thread is going to be locked - it will be interesting to see if they delete the content as well.

They have let people be unkind in the forums with little penalty even though that is been in the community guidelines forever, so we’ll have to see if its move into the policies lead to any practical changes to how the forums are moderated.
