confused between nimzo,KID and grunfeld

KID is great, but sometimes I get demolished so bad that it's heart breaking. Like I have no attack and I just watch my queenside get recked slowly and slowly while I am begging for counterplay. You really gotta know a lot to keep it playing that's why I might turn to a simpler thing.

How can u not form a kingside attack?
Gotta try these. Do you get good results with it?
I don't know my stats, but I suppose I perform decently with it. Some days I play well, some days I don't. Such is life!
