Looks like for my bronze division a person will need at least 800 trophies.
Going off of what people earned last week gave a very good prediction for stone, so I assume it will for bronze too. There are still plenty of people just playing without knowing that leagues exist, so they'll stick to their habits.
I do have an overachiever... last two weeks one guy in my division got over 4000 trophies.

Hopefully it doesn't require more than 1k. The leagues get substantially tougher each week. Silver will be the first league with major competition imo.

Over the week I saw around 10 stone league divisions. Yours needing over 800 was the hardest I've seen.

Hmm, the leaderboard people are still playing a mix of blitz, bullet, and rapid.
On one hand this is strange since bullet arena is clearly the most efficient non-simul method of getting trophies. I see @dragonb70 has been experimenting with rapid simuls, but I've been told that staff has called this technically not ok... maybe they'll make that part of the rules in later weeks.
Anyway, on the other hand, I might make sense. At least for me, since I play with a mouse, I couldn't do 10 hours of bullet arena.... my hand would wear out. But I could relax by playing some blitz or rapid in between. In that case it makes sense to play a lot of different time controls.
I only play rapid
Has anybody noticed the part where it says Arena = Bonus trophies? I play in blitz arenas and I get like 11 points per win. Seems to increase with my arena points as well.

Eh, leagues are already starting to get a bit annoying. I should only need 2-3 hundred more points to get promoted this week, which isn't a big increase from last week... so after silver, maybe getting to crystal won't be too terrible but... not sure I'll be motivated next week.

At how many points would you be unwilling to try for a promotion?
Let's say you knew at the beginning you'd need 1000, would you do it?
2000? 3000? What's your cutoff?

My cutoff is around 750

Ever since I got trapped in Stone as I didn't make it to Bronze this week, I've been going slowly. I'm probably going to wait a couple of weeks after all these league grinders are out of the mix and people of around my league level space are in my league 😀

Hi. Is this a glitch? Sometimes I think I don't get points when I have around 97% accuracy. But it usually is an opening blunder on my opponent. It happened around three times already (I think).
