Country flags

seems like years ago chess.com would list the country name next to the flag of members? There are so many players from around the world im always curious which part of the world thier from. anyone else think it would be a good feature to have added?...hmm..
yeah...i get that one a lot..and the other well known countries..so many others...just curious...hmm...maybe less attention to the flag...more on the game ;D
that sounds reasonable. but my cursor is my finger...alway play on my phone...hmm..im i still missing something? ...thanks
no worries. ..you jogged my memory...i do recall years ago when playing with a desktop...the countries would pop up...so thanks for that!...
On my iPhone app, touching the flag brings up the name for a second or two

Learn the flags, I used to have a dictionary beside me with a flag section.
i have a hard enough time learning chess...let alone hundreds of countries by flag :D...thanks for the tip on the iphone...i have a Samsung. .didnt work

There arent too much flags, most of them are from well known countries, altho some people like using flags from countries which are out of the solar system.
Also, flags may be fake, just so you know....
It's said Carlsen learned all of them when he was a toddler. Not a bad start.
