So you guys believe that there is no moral decay in progress?

I think moral decay has been been in progress since were dumb enough to stop the good old Salem witch burnings. We had perfect morality back then. LOL

I don't know about moral decay, but I think I'm experiencing some tooth decay.

Might be something to that! Fifteen minutes ago I pulled a crown out of my back tooth when I was chewing on a Milk Dud.

I broke out an inlay chewing on pecans. Dentist specifically warned me against Milk Duds and such. What is the original topic anyway?

Moral decay, but I think that topic's been exhausted. I guess I'll stick to milk BALLS from now on.

Individuals here seem not to know that in order to decline a challenge...you must sent an e-mail to explain your reasons why.

Clearly a waste of time. If I wanted to play you...I would accept the challenge. If I don't want to...I should not have to explain my reasons why not...especially when they are hundreds of points below you, and the time-control is 1 move in 5 days...ridiculous.

What's the difference between declining, and just ignoring a challenge?

Interesting approach!  That's not the way I do it.  I find it much easier to chew things if I keep my two crowns on my teeth. Cool

How about morale decay?

I remember Eebster's post, whoever removed the 'political' section is entirely prissy.

There should be an official stamp when content is edited by a moderator.

For example, something like this could appear under the post with a font not available to commoners.

Fun is the devil's handmaiden, you know.

Avatar of TheGrobe

I thought idle handmaidens were the devil's plaything.

(I also thought that was the origin of the phrase "lucky devil")

Careful of your metaphors, padman.  I like mixed drinks far more.

Unfortunately padman can lead a horse to water but he can't mix a drink.

That surprised me too, since it wasn't really political at all. Not as political as the forum politics going on here, anyways.

and why am I missing all the fun here ?!

OK, I would like to take a moment to point out the problem of mural decay (Diego Rivera is spinning in his grave)...

I can't believe you've all forgotten the radioactive decay series.

Avatar of Eebster

To stay on the topic of politics, does anybody here think any cities have been experiencing mayoral decay?
