I lose connection on my laptop.....then cannot reconnect. All other internet sites work fine, It is happening more frequently lately.....?????????????? Very frustrating!!!!!

You using WiFi ? More than a few users have reported that by going back to a hardwired connection, their disconnections stopped. Seems a browser based program like chess.com is real sensitive. Pain to have to do that, but it's better than the alternative.
Happened again......having a good game and three minutes to go......bye, bye connection!!!! No recovery......just message after message saying "unable to access network." Can access Chess.com, just not Live Chess. I umderstand wi-fi issues, but could it be more of a browser issue? I use chrome. This is an extraordinarily frustrating issue for me....there is no rhyme or reason for it.....inexplicable!!!!
