I doubt he was,it is hard to cheat in fast blitz like that. Besides, the way he played did not seem like the way a strong computer like Stockfish would play.
Crazy Titled Tuesday

IM 9ShMat2's account has just been closed. Seems like Nakamura was right to question his opponents integrity!

Yes, Nakamura said the first 20 moves matched stockfish, and that he is looking forward to playing chess against HUMANS (note the use of upper case!). He was quite certain there was something fishy going on...
Re: MatthiasKrantz, post #2
Don't underestimate the sophistication of cheaters these days. Some of them use bots to cheat at blitz and bullet (ever wonder why bullet ratings are so deflated on certain chess sites? Bullet is the most efficient way for cheaters to steal rating points), and these bots are becoming increasingly sophisticated themselves. For example, they avoid detection by occasionally playing suboptimal moves, and some of them even interactively "trashtalk" their opponents.
The problem is that the people who create these bots don't really care about chess. They're programmers/hackers who are, in their eyes, just having a bit of fun. It's unfortunate that their "fun" is ruining things for the rest of us...
Did anybody think this months Titled Tuesday was Strange? Both Grandmasters Dlugy and Nakamura did pretty poor.I thought these two games were crazy. What do you think?
