Customizable Modular LEGO Chess Set on LEGO Ideas

I’d like to share a LEGO project I’ve been working on, a fully Customizable Modular LEGO Chess Set built for chess lovers, LEGO fans, and anyone who enjoys unique chess variants like 4-player or oversized boards.

What Makes It Special:

Modular Design – Each square is its own unit, connected via Technic axles. Easily build a standard 8x8 board, a 4-player setup, or expand into massive 14x14 (or larger!) boards.
Classic Tournament Colors – Features the iconic green-and-white color scheme used in real chess tournaments, plus algebraic notation on the edges for tracking moves.
Supports Custom Variants –This product idea is flexible and ready for creative builds as each chess square can easily be moved around to play current variants or custom variants.
I built this because I love chess, LEGO, and chess variants. This set brings all three together—and it offers something unique for players of all levels.
