PROS FOR 1 DAY:
-Shorter time control, higher chance to win on time.
-Your opponent will move sooner, you will too-for those restless non-stop no-life sweat chess players :)
CONS FOR 1 DAY:
-More chance to lose on time.
-If you miss a day, will probably lose on time.
PROS FOR 3 DAYS:
-Slower time control, so less chance of a loss on time.
-More time, can skip a couple days and come back without a time-loss.
CONS FOR 3 DAYS:
-Less chance you lose on time, but still possible.
IN CONCLUSION:
Both are great time controls, but it depends on your chess playstyle.Like shorter, quicker games? 1 day is for you. Slower, not a chess sweat who plays each day? 3 days is your groove. For most popular one, I’d say 3 days.
Hoped you liked these reasons, and you’re welcome!
Does anybody know what the most common time period is for Daily chess? 1,2, or 3 days?
