Daily chess rules on assistance

In Daily chess mode are we allowed to use the 'practice against computer' for reference or is this not fair play?

No, you can't use it.

Thankyou for replies, I understand that its use is clearly wrong in the creative fair playing chess we all know and love. The Opening Explorer is ok according to the support pages, which covers the first four move on my free account here, although we are better to learn that opening before the game and then play unassisted I would say.

My understanding, as others have stated above, is that on going games my NOT be analyzed by any engine, nor by any other players; so consulting others for their opinion on move X would also be disallowed. I think opening books may be used unless otherwise stated( not sure ).General references of any sort are allowed, such as being in a K+N+B vs K endgame and consulting an endgame book on that type of ending would be allowed.
