I am fed up with my blunders in daily chess. Recently I have given away knights, bishops as gift to opponents and that way loss to lower rated players. I dont do such blunders in live chess but in daily chess the moves are one day or two days or three days later and I am doing blunders in replying those moves which I wont do if I was playing that game live.
I came across a thread "What is your mental checklist when making a move? " and found the advice useful so copying it here for me to follow it.
{Threats : Are there any immediate threats or any coming based on my opponent's last move?
Counters : What in between moves or counters are available to me in response to threats?
Plans : No threats? Ok, what's my long-term plans. How can I develop that?
Attacks : What attacks fit within my plan or any tactical schemes available to me right now? }
Another advice on blunder check
{do blunder check . I mean look at this 4 things after you think a move before you play . 1 your king is in attack or not 2 opponent king can be attacked or not 3 your pieces can be captured or not 4 you can take opponent pieces or not }
