Dal Rossi chess set value

I recently inherited this Dal Rossi chess set, but have no information or details on it. I would love to know it's worth, but I feel I have exhausted every option other than to pay money to get it appraised. 

Does anyone have any information that they know about this particular set?

Looks similar to this set advertised as Napoleon versus Wellington Chess Set.

The set only is advertised for $147.

/ You might help by measuring the king height and board size (individual square measure).

A very similar set is currently available on ebay for $50. However, two of the British figures have suffered battle wounds.

Dal Rossi appears to be a brand sold through mall gift stores in Australia and New Zealand.  I don't know if the brand is known outside of that area. It is unclear if the sets or the boards have any connection to Italy.
